About Deirdre Kiest

After 19 years as a licensed massage therapist I decided it was time for a career change where I could still help people and remain self-employed. I have always loved looking through real estate magazines and I have bought and sold several homes over the years so being a real estate broker seemed like a great direction to head in.

I was born in Portland and spent the next 12 years moving from one state to the next following my mother's itchy travel foot. We finally landed in Clark County, WA on 5 acres where we built a mini-farm before my parents sold that place my senior year. I married shortly after graduating high school and my husband and I have now been together for a quarter of a century. We have two boys that are 24 and 17. A few years ago the decision was made to finally get some land and we ended up with 7 gorgeous acres and an old house just outside of Morton, WA where we can build our own little farm and I can put to use all the animal and gardening knowledge I acquired as a kid.

When I'm not working on my property, I am an avid reader of almost anything I can get my hands or working on a variety of crafts including crocheting, beadwork and some sewing. I also enjoy hiking, kayaking, photography and just hanging out with my dogs or horse.

I am a creative, detail oriented, open-minded individual with excellent communication and organizational skills that will work with you to find the perfect place, whether you are just starting on the home-ownership journey, ready to build your dream home/farm, or at a point where it is time to downsize.
